Chromatopelma cyanopubescens
I keep 3 of these spiders at home and they are quite aggressive hunters and fast as hell. Within just a few hours the spiderlings covered covered the whole cricket box with a densw webbing. As soon as a cricket touches a thread of this webbing the spiders jump out immediately and kill the prey. With this species one has to be careful not to overfeed the animals. As they are tree dwellers, in case of a fall the abdomen might burst if the animals are overfed.
Just one molt later and the colors have already changed again. This spider is a true chamaeleon!
