History of my homepage

I created my first homepage in 1997 when I went to do my PhD at the University of Otago in New Zealand. The main intention back then was to stay in touch with my friends in Germany and to show them a few impressions of the country far, far away.

In the meantime this project has gone through quite a few changes and, finally I ran out of webspace and patience with my old webhost, good old German T-Online *frown*. So, I decided to get my own domain name registered and to put some work into the project. What you see here now will develop continually further, more topics will be added with time and since taking photos is one of my hobbies, more and more pictures will appear online.
