I'm a passionate hobby photographer and so I have taken quite a few pictures over the years. Most of them were taken when I was on holiday. However, the images in the 'Photos' section of my web page are mainly portraits, still lifes and pictures that I artificially altered on the computer. Sometimes I spend quite some time on arranging objects, illuminating them and finally finding an interesting camera angle to take the photos. Some of the resultng shots I have in the Still Life section.

A photographic topic that I really love is taking portait shots of the people around me. Unfortunately, many of them don’t quite turn out the way I intended them... I guess I have a little practice to do. Some of the really good portraits I have in the Portraits section.

When I am on holiday I love relaxing as well being active. Most of all I enjoy to watch a serene sunset over a lake, the see or behind an interesting tree or rock. I could just sit there and watch for hours on end the ever changing colors and hues... unfortunately such a sunset passes much too quickly. So, the only way to capture it for later times is to take photos. Lots of them. (Some of my friends startes actually counting the number of sunset-slides in my shows because I could decide which ones to leave out).
