Each species has its own forum where peoplecan post comments, questions, pictures. My first site to check when I am looking for a photo of a species. www.birdspiders.com Rick Wests Tarantula Page. The site with the largest photo archive of all the sites that I know. Even many “exotic” species are represented here. Very good and informative page, but sometimes a bit slow to load the photos. Still well worth a visit. www.avicularia.com If one is planning on keeping and breeding spiders of the genus Avicularia then this site is a must to visit. Lots of information on Avicularias and their particular requirements.

Organisations

 

www.dearge.de Homepage of the German Arachnological Society www.arachnologen-bonn.de Hobby-arachnologists from Bonn and the surrounding area meet once a month to swap animals, exchange information and make new contacts to other tarantula breeders. We meet every first Tuesday of the month in a local pub called Hoppegarten (Bonn Poppelsdorf, not far from Reuterstrasse)
